Croydon’s ‘third city’ project is in disarray
Some of Britain’s leading firms have seen their landmark developments for Croydon collapse or stall as they fall victim to the recession. The string of projects, by architects including RTKL, Sheppard Robson and Rolfe Judd, had been intended to create London’s “third city”.
